Job Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Sebright Products, your primary role is to engage with potential customers, qualify leads, and and move them through the sales pipeline. You are the first point of contact for many prospects, making you a key representative of the company’s brand. Your mission is to identify businesses that could benefit from Sebright’s waste and recycling solutions and nurture those prospects into valuable leads for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Researching and identify potential customers who fit Sebright’s ideal customer profile.
- Use various outreach methods including cold calls, emails, social media, and text messages to connect with new prospects.
- Leverage tools like ZoomInfo to gather contact data and build effective lead lists.
- Respond to inbound leads generated from marketing efforts such as website inquiries, content downloads, and event registrations.
2. Qualifying Leads
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and goals.
- Determine if they are a good fit for Sebright’s products by asking qualifying
questions and learning about their waste and recycling challenges. - Use active listening and consultative techniques to position Sebright Products as the solution to their problems.
3. Nurturing Leads
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospects in the consideration stage, sending
them relevant product information and personalized emails. - Follow up regularly with leads to build relationships, answer questions, and
guide them further down the sales funnel. - Provide valuable insights and solutions to their specific challenges using the
knowledge you’ve gained from Sebright’s product training.
4. Scheduling Meetings
- Once a lead has been qualified, schedule meetings or calls for them to speak with
a sales professional on the team. - Prepare detailed notes about the prospect’s pain points, budget, and interest to
ensure the sales team can effectively close the deal.
5. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing
- Work closely with the sales team to understand which leads are most valuable and prioritize them accordingly.
- Keep the sales team informed about the status of leads, sharing key insights from conversations to help move the deal forward.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure that messaging aligns with customer needs and feedback is provided on campaign success.
- You will be working hand-in-hand with Product Managers to help identify the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for various types of equipment we manufacture and place in the field.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Cold Calling Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of cold calling experience is required. You will be put to the test.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to engage with prospects confidently.
- Persistence: Ability to handle rejection professionally and stay motivated when prospecting.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage your time between prospecting, lead qualification, and follow-ups.
- Active Listening: Understand customer pain points and offer solutions that align with Sebright Products’ offerings.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to track and manage multiple prospects at different stages of the sales funnel.
