EMIR AVDIć - President and CEO
Emir Avdić serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sebright Products, Inc. With nearly two decades of international business experience, Emir brings a global perspective to organizational leadership, operations, and strategy. Before joining Sebright Products, he worked as a consultant specializing in market entry strategies, supply chain optimization, and process improvement for multinational companies operating between Europe and the United States.
Emir holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (International Business) from Grand Valley State University and an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University. Emir also holds a Black Belt in Executive Lean Six Sigma. Since joining Sebright Products, Emir has led initiatives focused on sustainability, advanced manufacturing practices, and customer-centric innovation.
Under his leadership, Sebright Products announced its transition to 100% employee ownership (ESOP), a milestone that reinforces the company’s long-standing commitment to teamwork, accountability, and long-term value creation for its employee-owners and customers alike.
Emir’s leadership philosophy emphasizes empowerment, operational discipline, and a global mindset—values that continue to guide Sebright Products for success in the waste and recycling equipment industry.
Loren Dykstra - Chief Revenue Officer (COO)
Loren Dykstra is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Sebright Products. Loren began working at Sebright Products at the age of 17 through a high school metals program partnership. Starting as a welder assembling rams for compactors, he quickly advanced to custom option work and installations. As Sebright Products’ business and service footprint expanded, Loren transitioned into a leadership position as Installation and Shipping Coordinator in 1996.
In 2014, he transitioned over to General Manager, where he played a key role in developing and launching several of Sebright Products’ most successful equipment lines. In addition to his operational leadership, Loren began managing equipment sales in 2012, focusing on house accounts and the bakery waste industry—a segment he continues to serve today. His extensive hands-on experience and customer-first approach have been instrumental in driving the organization’s growth and operational excellence.
Appointed to Chief Operating Officer in 2024, Loren now oversees all company operations and strategic initiatives. Outside of work, Loren enjoys locating and restoring used compaction equipment, reflecting his lifelong passion for craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Gary Brinkmann - Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
Gary Brinkmann is the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Sebright Products, Inc., with over 20 years of experience in the Waste and Recycling Industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Mercy University.
He began his career in finance, building expertise in contracts and ROI analysis before transitioning to sustainability-focused systems. Gary has led large-scale recycling initiatives for major manufacturers in the consumer-packaged goods and automotive industry. Known for delivering high-performance, low-downtime equipment solutions, he helps organizations align environmental goals with long-term profitability.
Based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Gary also contributes to several advisory and charitable boards and is committed to advancing the circular economy through practical, scalable innovation.
Justin Welker - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Justin Welker is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Sebright Products, Inc., joining the company in 2025. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from Davenport University. With over a decade of financial leadership experience in manufacturing and senior housing operations, Justin has driven large-scale process improvements, ERP implementations, and multi-entity growth initiatives.
Prior to joining the company, he served as CFO and President in organizations focused on mergers and acquisitions. Justin is passionate about building financially sustainable, data-driven organizations that support long-term success and operational excellence.
