Job Overview:

Performs a variety of fabrication/welding processes used in the production of trash compactors.  Checks and confirms work in accordance with job specifications, procedures, quality standards and checklists.


Include but are not limited to:

·Read and interpret bills of materials (BOM) and blueprints

·Layout and build weldments by hand or with use of fixtures

·Welds common metals of various shapes, sizes and thicknesses

·Assemble and weld components per drawing specifications

·Check dimensions such as height, width, length, holes, cutouts and ports against print

·Check welds for compliance to DTS standards

·Safely and properly operate forklift, hydraulic hoist, and/or other lift equipment

·Observe all company rules and policies, i.e. safety, attendance

·Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship

·Suggest design and procedure improvements that improve quality, productivity, and reduce cost

·Responsible for keeping work area(s) clean and free of clutter during work time and at the end of shift.

·Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

·Working knowledge of welding materials and equipment.

·Ability to weld.

·Ability to use various testing equipment to verify conformance to specifications.

·Ability to read, write and do simple math.

·Good mechanical ability.

·Ability to accurately read tape measure.

·Ability to read and interpret blueprints and bills of material.

·Ability to safely and properly use a wide variety of shop tools, including hand and power tools to grind, bevel, fit metals together, and remove slag.

·Ability to safely and properly operate a forklift and/or other lift equipment.

·Physical and visual acuity at a level to effectively perform duties.  Be able to stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, squat and kneel.  Be able to push or pull at least 50 pounds and be able to safely lift at least 40 pounds.  Be able to reach and work over head.

·Must have high school diploma with some post high school vocational training or a combination of experience and training sufficient to perform the job duties

·Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment

·Ability to follow directions in standard practices and procedures

Work Environment:

Skilled manufacturing shop; exposure to moderate amount of dust, dirt and noise; ambient air temperature fluctuates seasonally.

Job Overview:

Prepare parts and equipment for paint to include cleaning and degreasing, operating glove box type blast equipment, hand sanding and sanding with power sanders/grinders. Protect unpainted surfaces by masking. Utilize chemicals safely to prepare items for paint. Assist in facility upkeep.  The employee is flexible, willing to help out wherever needed, and committed to delivering the highest quality of work possible.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere of work area at all times
  • Prepare work orders with all pertinent information and process work orders to completion. Metal meets pre-paint specifications.
  • Must fully utilize all safety equipment, ensuring proper lifting, bending and carrying techniques are adhered to
  • Understand all machinery and chemicals used
  • Be aware of MSDS sheets and books and read and use this information when necessary
  • Identify maintenance and safety issues and take the correct steps to correct them. Safe operation of all equipment.
  • Must be honest, dependable and forthright, with the ability to confidently work without direct supervision
  • Maintain a positive attitude always be willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed
  • Must be flexible – willing to work a varied schedule

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills are required
  • Capable of operating hand tools, drills, saws, sanders/grinders, fork lift, crane/winches, ladder , hand truck and other machinery/equipment as required.
  • Capable of using basic hand tools, power sanders/grinders and other small power tools associated with body and prep work prior to painting operations.

Job Overview:

As a Painter/Sandblaster, you will operate both paint-spraying or abrasive sanding and grinding equipment for a variety of different jobs. Applies preparatory materials/ paints to steel surfaces of equipment in an efficient manner meeting all production schedules.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:

  • Applies protective coats of paint, and/or other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of equipment.
  • Washes, scrapes, sands, torches, and/or smoothes interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, lacquering or applying other related materials.
  • Cleans equipment, paint mixing area, and work area.
  • Operates compressors, striping machines, spray equipment, and other small power equipment.
  • Operates heavy lift equipment including scissors, and boom swing stage to heights of 40 feet.
  • Applies paints, surface preparatory materials, and undercoating materials to a variety of surfaces, as appropriate, and according to Materials Safety Data Sheets ensuring compliance with hazardous materials guidelines.
  • Determines appropriate color for new or replacement applications through customer spec requirements.
  • Maintains existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products.
  • Identification, safe handling, and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials.
  • Follow production schedule and communicate with supervisor on order details, delays or quality issues

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to the painting trade.
  • Skill in the preparation and application of paints, stains, and surface preparation materials to a wide variety of surfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Three years of painting experience.  Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education.   Actual on-the-job painting experience, paint booth application.
  • Hands-on experience with surface prep and paint mixing
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to work well independently and possess self-motivation to get the job done
  • Trustworthiness and reliability (must be ready to start work at the time shift begins and work diligently under minimal supervision)

Work Environment:

Include restricted movement; air contamination, dirty environment, hazardous materials, lifting or carrying heavy objects and climbing a ladder.

Job Overview:

As a leading manufacturer of Waste Handling and Recycling Equipment that serves the customers by installing and/or servicing our systems and products. Service Technicians are “the face of the company” and are required to promote the company and our services in a professional manner.  Service Technician work includes; machine service (preventive maintenance, parts replacement, calibration, etc.) and operator/maintenance training at customer locations when required. They diagnose and correct difficulties found in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems that hinder the operation of the equipment. 

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs. including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of waste handling equipment.  
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.  
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.  
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.  
  • Electrical skills to troubleshooting motors, manual switches, disconnect, fuses, and frequency drives. 
  • Skill to read and troubleshooting AC, DC circuit controls. 
  • Ability to follow precisely prescribed procedures. 
  • Good observation skills and attention to detail. 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Additional trade/tech schooling or previous experience preferred. 
  • Must have mechanical & technical aptitude, ability to problem-solve and to make decisions.  
  • Basic welding skills  
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to take ownership and willingness to share and mentor others 
  • Will be required to work overtime on an as needed basis including weekend work and travel when necessary.  Ability to be on call and work until the equipment is repaired. Typical travel is local and during the week. 
  • Must work in all types of weather conditions and not be afraid to get dirty. 
  • Valid Driver’s License with ability to obtain a Chauffeur’s License. 
  • Requires bending, heavy lifting, reaching, working in cramped and confined spaces 
  • Computer proficiency is ideal but not required.

We are looking for a Regional Sales Representative to help us increase sales and address customer needs in the Upper East Coast Region. Regional Sales Representative responsibilities include presenting our products and services to potential clients, identifying specific consumer characteristics, and recommending ways to promote and sell our products. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals. You will help us grow our customer base and reputation in your assigned region.

Job Duties

  • Maximize opportunities to grow business by identifying leads, managing prospects, and acquiring new business through outside sales while providing excellent customer service.
  • Exceed sales forecasts and customer expectations through strategic implementation of consultative and needs-based sales processes.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and communicate price quotations, sale terms, delivery dates, and service obligations to customers/contractors.
  • Provide technical advice and suggestions for customer needs by investigating problems and developing solutions for improvements on projects.
  • Prepare detailed site layout documentation and collaborate with the engineering department on desired business outcomes.
  • Recommend changes in products and service by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Extensive travel is required to solicit and meet with customers, survey job sites, monitor installation of equipment, and engage in post-sale customer follow up.
  • Effectively use our CRM (Salesforce) system to document all customer conversations and interactions.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the company’s products, business, and the waste and recycling industry.
  • Attend networking functions to increase Sebright’s visibility in the marketplace.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field or equivalent combination of experience, training/or education required
  • Two years’ experience in the waste and recycling industry
  • Sales training and experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of the metal fabrication processes, electrical controls, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, active listening, and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Effective negotiation skills with the ability to persuade others
  • Experience with CRM Software, preferably Salesforce
  • A willingness to travel with a good driving record is necessary
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to Have:

  • Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software
